Broken lease from a prior community you owe money to

Misdemeanor or felony on your background check

Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy on your credit report

Second Chance Apartments From Old Town Spring to Springwoods Village

Spring isn't a city. The census counts it as a place in unincorporated Harris County, but people use the name for a much bigger area. Some Spring mailing addresses north of Spring Creek, around Rayford Road, are in Montgomery County. So the county court that holds an old eviction comes down to the exact address. In Harris County, those cases go through the Justice of the Peace courts.

Old Town Spring, at Spring Cypress and Hardy roads, is a shopping district built on the original town. Apartment complexes spread out from there along I-45, Louetta Road and Cypresswood Drive. West toward Klein and Gleannloch Farms, you'll find more garden style communities and townhomes. Older complexes here sometimes rent for less than the newest buildings.

The ExxonMobil campus in Springwoods Village opened in 2014. If you work there or up in The Woodlands, tell us, and we'll keep your list close. As of 2026, most Spring complexes want gross income of about 3x the rent. Risk fee communities generally want 2.5x to 3x.

Send us three things: your screening issue, target rent, and target neighborhood. We'll write back with Spring communities to look at, free. Weekend messages most likely get a reply on Monday.

Spring No Credit Check Apartment FAQ

When will I get my Spring apartment list? +

Most messages get a reply the same day. The list takes 24 to 48 weekday hours. Write to us on a weekend, and you'll most likely hear back Monday.

Is Spring in Harris County or Montgomery County? +

Mostly Harris County. Some homes and complexes with a Spring mailing address sit north of Spring Creek in Montgomery County, near Rayford Road. Spring has no city government in either county.

Which court has my eviction if I lived in Spring? +

The Justice of the Peace court in the county where that apartment was. Harris County and Montgomery County keep separate records. Screening reports pull from those filings, and we read them the way property managers do.

Can I rent in Spring with bad credit? +

Some communities may. Many set a minimum credit score, and the number varies by property. A few may consider a risk fee or a guarantor in place of a denial. Guarantor companies like TheGuarantors and OneApp charge about 70% to 110% of one month's rent.

Do I pay you anything? +

No. We're free to renters. When a renter we refer signs a lease, the community pays our referral fee.
