What we collect

When you use our free apartment search service, we collect the information you choose to give us. That means your name, email, phone number, target metro, budget, and your screening issue (bad credit, eviction, broken lease, criminal record, bankruptcy, no credit history). We keep anything else you tell us about your situation too. Our analytics tools record some data automatically: pages viewed, the site that sent you here, your general region, and your device type.

How we use your information

Your information helps us look for Texas apartment communities whose screening criteria may fit your history. We may share your information with communities you ask us to send an application to. We don't sell your data or run hard credit checks. For the search, we go by what you tell us: your score range and the history you describe.

How we make money

Apartment communities pay us a referral fee after a renter we refer signs a lease. That's why the service is free to you.

Who we share your information with

We share your information with three groups. First, the specific apartment communities you ask us to send your application to. Second, third-party guarantor companies (such as TheGuarantors or OneApp), but only if you ask about a guarantor. Third, the service providers that help us run the site (email, analytics, form processing). We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Your rights
